Bleu Raisin, a charming B&B near Saint-Emilion

A place that feels like yours from the first moment.

Some places you visit. Bleu Raisin is a place you inhabit – if only for a few days.

Nestled among the rolling vineards of Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux, just 15 minutes from the UNESCO World Heritage town of Saint-Emilion, this 19th-century former winery has been carefully restored into a charming bed & breakfast where time genuinely slows down.

No lobby. No reception desk. Just a warm welcome, and the kind of quiet that reminds you why you came.

From the first moment our hosts made us feel very much at home in their carefully renovated and tastefully designed B&B, situated in the beautiful settings of the countryside 10 miles from the local “capital” St Emilion. We received excellent advice both regarding local restaurants and excursions as well as contact with experienced winemakers of the area.

We drove down to St Emilion and were so pleased to pull into the Bleu Raisin drive! Lovely area with vineyards to the side and just the look of the house feels clean, modern and inviting! Sandra was a brilliant hostess and gave us a friendly welcome and when we were shown to our room we were smitten! Cool rooms with ambient lighting, crisp sheets and all the little touches that make a stay memorable – and that shower! Too lovely!!!

This is a lovely place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the vineyards, though very quiet and rural. The hosts were very kind and helpful and really could not do enough for you. The rooms were immaculate and tastefully decorated.
